You Know You're Getting Old When...

...when you go to your old high school's homecoming game and your 13 year old cousin knows more people than you do

...when you help make homecoming dinner for your brother rather than eat it yourself

...when your littlest brother turns 12 and is SO excited to hold the Priesthood and participate in passing the Sacrament and collecting fast offerings

...when your entire family is on October break but you are definitely still in school and it just so happens to be Midterm week :/

...when your body is so stiff some nights that you don't know how it is still moving!

...when one of your piano students calls you "Sister Shelley" (until you tell her she can call you Kailei)

...when your cousin asks you when you are going to start having babies because he wants to be an Uncle (to which you have to lovingly explain that your kids won't be his nieces and nephews but that he can act like they are)

...when you go to a Bridal Shower for a good friend from high school and there are more married people there than single people (most younger than you)

...when you have to wear dress clothes to school more often than comfy clothes because you have presentations/observations/auditions all the time

...when kids have no idea what you are talking about when you say that Growing Pains was one of your favorite shows as a kid

...when your youngest brother realizes that you were born in the 80's and laughs at you!

But I guess getting old is okay! It's all part of the experience, right? :)
